In addition, Aurora aims to deliver sustainability at all stages of design and construction to reduce its carbon footprint. During the design stage the focus is on ensuring that the building operates efficiently with the minimum energy
requirement. During construction, recycled materials are used when possible and waste is minimised. Aurora also aims to educate tenants so that they continue to minimise wastage once the building has been let or sold.

With over 50 years of experience in the business, Mr. Hatem Kamal Farah, is the CEO of the company. He is an engineer by profession with vast expertise in managing major construction and contracting projects in this region. Having founded Engineering Contracting Co. LLC, (ECC) in Dubai in 1975, Mr. Hatem has a profound understanding of clients’ concepts and requirements, which helps him to serve them well. His key strengths include a keen entrepreneurial sense (having opened several other contracting related businesses), unrivaled leadership and motivational skills and an indepth understanding of all aspects of design and construction.

Cian Farah is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors with over 7 years of experience in the Property Development Industry. He spent 5 years working in commercial & residential development in the UK with U&I Group PLC (formally Development Securities PLC) handling over 500,000 sq. ft. of development in London with a particular focus on helping with the arrangement of funding packages with banks and institutional investors, planning permissions, managing design teams and marketing/leasing the developments.

In 2014, he was appointed Managing Director of Aurora Real Estate Development LLC. He’s also a board member of the Engineering Contracting Company Group (ECC Group), specifically responsible for overseeing the performance of 2 companies within the ECC Group, Rhino Facilities Management (Rhino), a start-up facilities management company and ECC Renovations, a small renovations division of ECC. This is in addition to being a member of the board for The Valuator Group’s operations in the Middle East (a business offering full valuation services), and Al Talah Board Manufacturing Company LLC (a Greenfield industrial manufacturing plant converting palm waste material into particle board, setting to start operations in 2017).

Mr. Ayman Eleraby is senior Asset and Property Manager at Aurora. He is responsible for managing all the assets in Aurora’s portfolio to ensure they yield the highest returns. Mr. Ayman has ten years of experience in the U.A.E market and is currently managing over 65 million AED worth of assets. Prior to working with Aurora, Ayman worked with the investment department of the Aqari Bank in Egypt for eight years.

Mr. Sanjeev secured an Msc in Real Estate Management & Development at Heriot Watt University, Dubai in 2014. Before he secured his Msc in Real Estate, Sanjeev had four years of experience in real estate, working with Green Valley Eco Structures as a Real Estate Manager on their land transactions and India Properties in their Sales and Marketing team.
