Aurora strives to work in a responsible manner across all its projects and with all its partner companies. In addition, Aurora aims to deliver sustainability at all stages of design and construction to reduce its carbon footprint. During the design stage the focus is on ensuring that the building operates efficiently with the minimum energy requirement. During construction, recycled materials are used when possible and waste is minimized. Aurora also aims to educate tenants so that they continue to minimize wastage once the building has been let or sold.

History

Founded in 2005 by Mr. Hatem Kamal Farah, Aurora Limited was established following the success of design and build projects undertaken by Mr. Farah’s contracting company ECC. Aurora Limited is an offshore company registered with the Jebel Ali Free Zone and Aurora Consultancy is an onshore company registered in Dubai.

Mr. Hatem Kamal Farah

A career spanning over 46 years, Hatem Farah has founded and chaired a number of leading companies in the UAE and Gulf region. He began his career in the UAE in 1972, and in 1975 established his first enterprise, Engineering Contracting Co (ECC) LLC. Through his many affiliations and leading companies, Hatem became a renowned industrialist in the Middle East.

Under Hatem’s leadership, the ECC Group of companies have completed billions of dirhams worth of projects for high-end clients. Noteworthy work includes many iconic and prestigious projects starting with the Dubai Clock Tower, Zabeel Park, the Emirates Flight Catering Facility and Zayed University (2 Campuses in Dubai). His company has also delivered the interiors of Giorgio Armani’s At.mosphere restaurant on level 122 of the Burj Khalifa, the Emirates Towers Hotel rooms fit-out, Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi and the largest Convention Centre Hall near Trade Centre. ECC currently employs a total of 8,000 employees throughout the region.

Hatem has received various awards from institutions, government agencies and clients such as RTA, ADNOC, Emirates Catering, and Dubai Municipality. He graduated from Cairo University in 1969 with a B.Sc. Degree in Civil Engineering.

Mr. Mohammad Abu Daqa

Mr. Ayman has ten years of experience in the U.A.E market and is currently managing over 65 million AED worth of assets. Prior to working with Aurora, Ayman worked with the investment department of the Aqari Bank in Egypt for eight years.

Mr. Sanjeev Bagh

Mr. Sanjeev Bagh is Development Analyst at Aurora. He is responsible for preparing development briefs and appraisals, monitoring the financial performance of the projects, and marketing. Mr. Sanjeev secured an Msc in Real Estate Management & Development at Heriot Watt University, Dubai in 2014. Before he secured his Msc in Real Estate, Sanjeev had four years of experience in real estate, working with Green Valley Eco Structures as a Real Estate Manager on their land transactions and India Properties in their Sales and Marketing team. Mr. Sanjeev is training for RICS APC.

Ms. Milena Dostanic

As the Project Coordinator at Aurora, Milena’s responsibilities cover a wide range of matters, most notably coordination among all parties involved in execution of our development projects. Milena is passionate about clever design and high quality of the finishes, which is persistently reflected through her work. Prior to joining the Aurora team, she had worked on the design of the luxury villas in Dubai, refining her sense of investors’ end-product wishes. Milena holds Msc of Architecture from the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture in Serbia. Upon completion of her studies, she joined Philip Morris, Corporate Affairs department, which was instrumental in honing her communication and organizational skills. Currently, she is training for the Msc in Green architecture at the Wismar University, Germany.
Ms. Milena Dostanic

Rabih specializes in external public relations and dealing with diverse transactions with all government authorities segments, project managers, consultants and urban planning specialists mainly in the UAE. He has seven years of experience in his chosen field with an educational background in human resource, real estate property management, law, strategic management and public communication. He is a Real Estate Certified practitioner under the Dubai Real Estate Institute of the Dubai Land Department. He is also an accredited member of the UK’s International Professional Managers Association. With strong public communication and strategic negotiation acumen, he is adept in streamlining operations in licensing, renewal, regulatory compliance and liaising with public and private stakeholders, leaving a mark of excellence when representing his company. He has been connected with Engineering Contracting Company LLC for most of his career, servicing the main construction arm and its associated companies. Currently, he is actively affiliated with Aurora Real Estate Development LLC; ECC’s associated company which specializes in real estate development and investment within the UAE.
Mr. Rabih Fayez Al Safadi
